As the state begins to distribute the COVID-19 vaccines for those in Phase 1A and 1B, county health departments have begun waitlists for those wish to be inoculated. The Houston Health Department announced on Monday that it’s opening the waitlist to all age groups of people eligible in Phase 1A and 1B. Phase 1A covers front-line health care workers and residents of long-term care facilities. Beginning March 29th, all adults are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in Texas.
